Despite the increased pressure of new maize supplies in the markets of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra, the market has seen a significant rise due to continuous buying from stockists, starch mills, and ethanol companies. In Haryana and Punjab, good quality maize is being sold at ₹2650/2670 per quintal, while lower quality maize is selling for ₹2550/2600 per quintal. Apart from MP and Rajasthan, there is no stock of maize in other states, and the arrival of other crops will take some time. As a result, the maize market is expected to remain bullish in the future.
