Bajra Report
We believe that the production of bajra has been excellent in all major producing states including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. Despite this, the additional consumption of around 22-23% in the foodgrain sector, along with continued demand from distillery plants, has led to the available stock being sold in the markets. In Haryana and Punjab, bajra from Rajasthan is being sold at ₹2650/2660 per quintal, while dry bajra is trading at ₹2400/2440 per quintal in the markets. The demand for bajra continues to remain strong. Therefore, the current prices suggest that bajra will likely move towards substantial profit in the future.
