A Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation lies over Punjab and its neighboring regions at lower tropospheric levels, accompanied by an induced cyclonic circulation over Haryana and nearby areas. Another Western Disturbance in the form of a trough is influencing weather patterns in northern India. Isolated to Scattered rainfall and snowfall very likely over Western Himalayan Region and isolated rainfall over Punjab, Haryana & West Uttar Pradesh during next 24 hours. Minimum temperatures are likely to rise by about 2°C over the plains of Northwest India during the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual fall of 2-4°C. Over East India, a rise of 2-3°C is expected over the next three days, with a subsequent fall of 2-4°C. In Central India, no significant change is likely during the next 48 hours, but a gradual drop of 2-3°C is expected thereafter. Maharashtra is expected to experience no significant change in minimum temperatures over the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual fall of 2-3°C. In the Gujarat region, a gradual fall of 2-3°C is likely over the next 24 hours, with no significant change expected thereafter. Cold Wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on during next 2 days. Dense fog conditions are very likely to persist during the night and early morning hours in isolated pockets of Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura today. Additionally, dense fog is expected in Rajasthan, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, and Odisha until tomorrow, and in West Uttar Pradesh until Sunday.
