Wheat Prices Expected to Remain Stable

Last week, wheat prices saw a decline. The government has increased the weekly tender quantity to 500,000 metric tons, leading roller flour mills to lower product prices and initiate sales. This week, wheat prices fell by ₹250 per quintal. Although a slight increase in the market is possible, a long-term rise seems unlikely. Currently, high-quality mill wheat is selling for ₹3,060-₹3,070 per quintal. Another tender will be issued this week, but higher quantities may result in further price drops. To control inflation, the government has increased the weekly tender quantity. With two months remaining before the new wheat crop arrives, farmers are advised to sell their wheat at current prices given the present circumstances.
