Weather Update.

A cyclonic circulation persists over Madhya Maharashtra and its surrounding regions at lower tropospheric levels. Additionally, a trough extends from southern Chhattisgarh to the cyclonic circulation over Maharashtra and its vicinity across Vidarbha & Marathwada. Thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-60 kmph) are expected over Gujarat State and Telangana today. Similar conditions are likely over Central India, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada for the next two days, while Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh may experience these weather conditions over the next three days. Another north-south trough runs from this cyclonic circulation over Madhya Maharashtra down to the Comorin area, also in the lower tropospheric levels. Hailstorms are likely over South Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha for the next 3-4 days, while Chhattisgarh and Telangana may experience them until tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated pockets of coastal and south interior Karnataka over the next two days, while Kerala may experience heavy rainfall from tomorrow until the end of the week. A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from tomorrow. Tomorrow, light rain or thundershowers may occur in northeastern Rajasthan, but with little impact on temperatures. Meanwhile, western and southern parts of the state will stay dry and hot, with possible heatwave conditions developing after two days. Heatwave conditions are very likely to persist in isolated pockets of Saurashtra & Kutch today. Hot and humid weather is expected in isolated areas of Assam today, while similar conditions may prevail in Tripura and Gujarat state over the next 3-4 days.
