Under the influence of these systems: Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (40–50 kmph) is likely over Northeast and East India during the next five days, while similar conditions are expected over Chhattisgarh for the next two days. Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely over Bihar, Assam, and Meghalaya today and again after two days, while Arunachal Pradesh is expected to experience similar rainfall after three days. Thundersqualls, with wind speeds reaching 50–60 kmph, are very likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar during the next two days. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) is likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka during the next five days.
