Additionally, lightning activity is expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Telangana in this period. Under the influence of a Western Disturbance, marked by a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and an upper-air cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan and adjoining areas. Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (with speeds of 40–50 kmph), is likely over the Western Himalayan Region by today.
