Another upper air cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Assam in lower tropospheric levels. Under the influence of these systems: Light to moderate moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds (speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) likely over Northeast India during next 7 days. Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to experience heavy rainfall over the next 3–4 days, while Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may witness similar conditions during next two days. Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–40 kmph, gusting up to 50 kmph) over the coming week. Isolated lightning activity is also likely over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry throughout the next 7 days. Additionally, East India may experience lightning activity starting after 3 days, continuing for the following 2 days.
