Cyclonic Systems to Bring Heavy Rain Across Several Regions.

A low-pressure area has formed over the west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal, off the north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts, due to an upper air cyclonic circulation. This system is expected to strengthen into a well-marked low in the next 24 hours and move west-northwest, crossing north coastal Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha in the next 48 hours. In northwest India, there will be light to moderate rainfall over the next two days, with heavy rain expected in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. After two days, East Rajasthan will also receive rain that will continue for the next three days. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are likely to experience rainfall for the next 4 to 5 days. In northeast India, there will be light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning. Heavy rain is expected to continue in Arunachal Pradesh until tomorrow, and in Assam and Meghalaya over the next 3 to 4 days. In South Peninsular India, moderate to heavy rainfall over Telangana will end by tomorrow. Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh will experience similar rainfall conditions over the next 3 to 4 days. Strong surface winds, with speeds reaching 40-50 km/h, are expected across South Peninsular India in the next two days. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning is likely at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over the next five days. East and Central India: Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is expected in Bihar until today, and in Odisha for the next two days. Similar weather conditions are likely in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh over the next four days. West India: Light rainfall is expected over Maharashtra and Goa for the next 3 to 4 days. The Gujarat region will experience similar rainfall starting after three days and continuing for two days.
