A low-pressure system continues to remain over the east-central Bay of Bengal and the nearby Myanmar coast. This system is accompanied by a cyclonic circulation that extends up to 5.8 kilometers above sea level. A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to influence western Himalayan region from tomorrow. Northwest India: Jammu & Kashmir may face thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds reaching 40–50 km/h by tomorrow. Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are also likely to witness thunderstorms and lightning over the next two days. East & Central India: West Madhya Pradesh is expected to experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds reaching 30–40 km/h until tomorrow. West India; Marathwada is likely to see thunderstorms and lightning today. Konkan & Goa, along with Madhya Maharashtra, are expected to experience similar weather conditions after two days. South Peninsular India: Light to moderate rain is expected across the region. Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh may see rain or thunderstorms at many places over the next two days. Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka are expected to receive rainfall starting in two days, which may continue for several days. Temperature Forecast Northwest India: Minimum temperatures will remain steady for the next 72 hours, followed by a gradual drop of 3–4°C over the subsequent 3–4 days. Central India: No major change in minimum temperatures for the next 48 hours, with a gradual fall of 3–5°C expected afterward. West India: Minimum temperatures will stay stable for the next 48 hours, then drop by 2–3°C over the following 2–3 days.
