Weather forecast for Uttar Pradesh: chances of thunderstorms and rain, warning of strong winds in several districts

The weather in Uttar Pradesh is expected to change over the coming days. Different parts of the state may experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for strong winds and thunderstorms in eastern Uttar Pradesh during June 14 and 15. In western Uttar Pradesh as well, strong winds of 40 to 50 km/h are expected, along with a risk of lightning strikes. During the past 24 hours, weather activity remained significant in several parts of the state. Around 7 cm of rainfall was recorded in the Dalmau area of Raebareli. Strong winds were also reported in districts such as Varanasi, Sultanpur, Mirzapur, Ballia, and Gorakhpur. According to the weather department, similar conditions may continue in the coming days. Meteorologists say that conditions are favorable for the advancement of the monsoon. Rainfall activity in eastern Uttar Pradesh is expected to increase further in the next few days, which could benefit farmers. However, due to the risk of strong winds and lightning, people are advised to remain cautious. The Meteorological Department has urged citizens to avoid open areas during bad weather, not to take shelter under trees, and to stay in safe places during lightning activity. Farmers are also advised to protect their crops and agricultural equipment. The weather across most parts of the state is likely to remain changeable over the coming week, with intermittent rain, strong winds, and cloudy conditions continuing.
