India spot wheat prices down on weak bulk demand.
Prices of mill-quality wheat fell further due to a decline in demand from flour millers amid a further fall in arrivals. Demand remained weak as most bulk buyers have shifted to the government's weekly auctions after prices in spot markets gradually started to rise, they said. Wheat prices are likely to remain steady in the coming days as spot arrivals had dried out. Farmers and small stockists have exhausted their stock and bulk buyers are waiting for big stockists to start offloading at the spot markets.
