India Wheat price down on weak demand.

Prices of wheat fell across key spot markets due to weak demand from flour millers amid a decline in arrivals. Demand at spot markets are likely to remain weak for the next three days as most bulk purchasers have shifted to the government's weekly auctions after supply waned at spot markets. Prices are likely to rise in January when the base price at the government auction increases to 2,245 rupees per 100 kg from 2,190 rupees per 100 kg now. However, most demand is likely to be for wheat sold at the government auctions.
