Chana is traded firm at major centres due to firm cues from futures and millers buying support at current levels for immediate crushing requirement. However, demand for processed chana is reported thin. As per sources, private players have also started liquidating their stock. Nafed is not passing bids below 4450 to sell chana, however, buyers are also seen less interested in Nafed chana buying as chana is easily available in spot market.
