Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions likely in isolated places of Punjab, Haryana and north Rajasthan for next 2 days. In Punjab, Haryana, Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh undertake transplating of onion. Dense fog predicted over isolated parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana. In Uttarakhand undertake harvesting of mustard. Undertake nursery preparation of tomato and field preparation for sowing of okra.
Heavy rain likely at isolated places over Odisha and light rain expected over,south Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Andhra Pradesh and few parts of Telangana may likely to receive light rain on 8 to 9 February. Postpone irrigation and any kind of input supply to crops for 2-3 days.
