Western disturbance to affect north, northeast and west regions of India, will cause rain

Fresh Western Disturbance is observed, which is likely to affect Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh from 18th February 2020 night. It is projected that light scattered rain rainfall/snowfall very likely over these regions during 18th-19th February, 2020, Another Western Disturbance is observed that is likely to affect Western Himalayan Region & adjoining plains from 20th February. Due to this it is projected that it may induce a cyclonic circulation which is likely to develop over southwest Rajasthan on 20th February. In Rajasthan, undertake field preparation for sowing of okra. In Arid Western Plain Zone(Bikaner and Jaisalmer), to protect the crop from Desert Locusts, spray Chlorpyriphos (50%) 1 ml/litre or Chlorpyriphos(20%) 2.5 ml/litre of water on standing crops.
