It is been observed that there can be confluence between westerlies and lower easterlies from Bay of Bengal, it is projected that fairly widespread rain/thundershower likely over East India during 24th to 25th and fairly rain/thundershower over Northeast India on 25th & 26th with heavy rain falls over Odisha on 25th February. As the weather will remain mainly dry till Monday in Odisha, maintain water depth upto the base of the plant in rabi rice followed by weeding when the crop is around 3-4 leaf stage.
