Light to moderate rains likely at some places in Jharkhand, MP and Chhatisgarh; Haryana, Punjab and Delhi to remain dry

The low pressure area has now reached central parts of Uttar Pradesh and adjoining eastern parts. The axis of Monsoon trough passes through Bikaner, Gwalior, Uttar Pradesh under a low pressure area, Gaya, Malda and Manipur in Northeast India. In villages near Delhi, undertake sowing of early pea, radish (Pusa Chetki), spinach (Pusa Bharti), amaranths (Pusa lal Chaulai, Pusa Kiran), sweet corn (Madhuri, Vin orange) and baby corn (H.M-4) on ridges. Undertake sowing of early mustard - Pusa Sarson-28, Pusa Tarak etc. Undertake transplanting of brinjal, tomato, chilli and early cauliflower on ridge whose seedlings are ready. Fairly widespread rainfall over Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Widespread rainfall over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. For livestock, Store cattle feeds in dry places. Keep the cattle shed floor dry as far as possible. Goats & sheep should be given Entoroctosimia Vaccine at the age of 6-10 weeks.
