A cyclonic circulation is over North interior Karnataka, and a trough is extending up to south Kerala. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are expected over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, and parts of Kerala. Light to moderate rain is expected over Western Himalayas, rest of North East India, parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, central and East Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Karnataka parts of Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and parts of Telangana. Light rain is expected over isolated pockets of Lakshadweep and Madhya Pradesh. An isolated dust storm is possible over parts of Rajasthan.
