Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected over isolated parts of Northwest, South and East India

A cyclonic circulation is over the south of Pakistan and adjoining parts of Rajasthan.A cyclonic circulation is over Vidarbha and adjoining areas. A north-south trough or wind discontinuity is extending from cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha to Kerala across Marathwada and interior Karnataka. A cyclonic circulation is over Bihar. A cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining parts of Punjab. A trough is extending from this cyclonic circulation to Sikkim across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. A cyclonic circulation is over the equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Central parts of the South Arabian Sea. It may induce a low-pressure area by May 14th, which may intensify further into a well-marked low. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and thundershowers with few heavy spells are expected in West Bengal, Odisha, parts of Bihar, parts of Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and Lakshadweep. Light to moderate rain with isolated intense spells are expected over Jammu & Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, parts of Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh parts of Tripura, Jharkhand, isolated pockets of postal Andhra Pradesh and Vidarbha. Scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers associated with dust storms and isolated hailstorms may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and parts of Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain may over parts of North and East Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Island.
