Thunderstorm, dust storm and rain may occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan; heat wave may continue in Rajasthan

Western disturbance is now over North Pakistan and adjoining area. A cyclonic circulation is over Punjab and adjoining parts of Pakistan. A low-level trough is extending from this cyclonic circulation to north east Madhya Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation is over Bihar. A trough from this cyclonic circulation is extending up to Vidarbha across Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain and thunder showers are expected over North East India, parts of coastal Karnataka and isolated pockets of Kerala. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Lakshadweep, rest Kerala, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, West Bangal and isolated pockets of north coast of Andhra Pradesh. Light rain with one or two moderate spells may occur over interior Karnataka, Telangana, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, western Himalayas, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Thunderstorm, dust storm and rain may occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Heat wave may continue at isolated pocket of Rajasthan. Light rain and thunderstorm may occur over Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and isolated pockets of Delhi NCR.
