Light to moderate rain is possible over entire South India; Central and East India too to witness isolated rainfall

Southwest monsoon has advanced in some parts of the Arabian Sea. Covered entire coastal Karnataka and Goa, some parts of Maharashtra, and most parts of north interior Karnataka. It has covered some parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It has also covered some more parts of Tamil Nadu and the Bay of Bengal. A western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation is over Punjab and Haryana. A cyclonic circulation is over northwest Rajasthan and the adjoining areas. A cyclonic circulation is persisting over the Central Arabian Sea near Karnataka and Goa coast. A trough from this cyclonic circulation is extending up to South Tamil Nadu across Karnataka. A trough is extending from South Maharashtra to the Kerala coast. A cyclonic circulation is seen over the Comorin area. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells may occur over Northeast India, Marathwada, and Madhya Maharashtra. Light to moderate rain with one or two intense spells may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Karnataka, and Konkan and Goa. Light to moderate rain may occur over Lakshadweep, parts of Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Isolated light rain is possible over Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, east Rajasthan and the rest of Western Himalayas.
