Moderate to heavy rain may occur over West Bengal, parts of Odisha, Konkan and parts of Telangana; Bihar and Jharkhand too to witness light rain

A low-pressure area is expected to form over the North Bay of Bengal and the adjoining area around June 11. A trough is extending from east Uttar Pradesh to the Northeast Bay of Bengal across Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is seen over Assam and the adjoining areas. A trough is extending from sub-Himalayan West Bengal to south Chhattisgarh. A cyclonic circulation is over South Gujarat and the adjoining areas. A cyclonic circulation is over the Central and adjoining North Arabian Sea at about 6 km above mean sea level. During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, part of Odisha, Konkan and Goa, and parts of Telangana. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Northeast India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, parts of Chhattisgarh, southeast Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, and coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rain may occur over interior Odisha parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema, south Gujarat, isolated pockets of Tamil Nadu, and coastal Andhra Pradesh.
