Moderate to heavy rain may occur over Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, MP and Jharkhand

A low-pressure area is over Northwest Jharkhand and the neighborhood. An associated cyclonic circulation is extending up to mid-tropospheric levels tilting southwestward with height. A low-level trough is extending from west Rajasthan to the northeast Bay of Bengal across East Rajasthan, northwest Madhya Pradesh, south Uttar Pradesh, the center of the low-pressure area, and Gangetic West Bengal.An offshore trough is extending from the Maharashtra coast to the Kerala coast. A cyclonic circulation is over Assam and adjoining parts.

During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain may occur over Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Chhattisgarh, Northeast Madhya Pradesh, south Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, and parts of Kerala. Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells may occur over the rest of Madhya Pradesh, parts of Telangana, part of Vidarbha, isolated pockets of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and parts of Telangana. Light to moderate rain is possible over Western Himalayas, parts of Punjab, Rajasthan, parts of Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh, parts of Delhi, Odisha, interior Karnataka, and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible over Tamil Nadu Rayalaseema and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
