A low-pressure area is over southeast Uttar Pradesh adjoining parts. An associated cyclonic circulation is extending up to mid-tropospheric levels. A cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining parts of northwest Rajasthan.
A trough is extending from cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan to the Northeast Bay of Bengal across South Haryana. The center of low-pressure area is over southeast Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal. An offshore trough is extending from the Maharashtra coast to the North Kerala coast. A cyclonic circulation is over southwest Rajasthan and the adjoining area. A cyclonic circulation over southeast Rajasthan and adjoining parts of West Madhya Pradesh. A circulation is persisting over Bangladesh and adjoining area.
During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain may occur over Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, and isolated pockets of Jharkhand. Light to moderate rain with few heavy spells may occur over Northeast India, parts of Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, and coastal Karnataka.
Light to moderate rain with one or two intense spells may occur over Central parts of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kerala, the rest of Jharkhand, and isolated pockets of Odisha. Light rain with one or two moderate spells may occur over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, parts of West Uttar Pradesh, southeast Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
