Centre of low pressure area is over UP and Bihar; medium to heavy rainfall to continue over UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal

A low-pressure area is over southeast Uttar Pradesh and the adjoining parts of Bihar. A trough is extending from Northwest Rajasthan to the northeast Bay of Bengal across South Haryana, the centre of low-pressure area over southeast Uttar and adjoining areas, North Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal.

An offshore trough is persisting from the South Maharashtra coast to the North Kerala coast. A circulation is seen over Haryana and the adjoining areas. A cyclonic circulation is over South Gujarat and the neighborhood. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with heavy spells may occur over Northeast India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, isolated pockets of Bihar and Gujarat region.

Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over Lakshadweep, Kerala, coastal Karnataka, parts of Konkan and Goa, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, east Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Southeast Rajasthan.

Light rain is possible over western Himalayas, Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and isolated pockets of interior Karnataka.
