A trough is extending from the foothills of Uttarakhand to the northeast Bay of Bengal across Uttar Pradesh, southwest Bihar, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal. A cyclonic circulation is over East Uttar Pradesh in lower levels. A north-south trough is extending from east Uttar Pradesh to south Tamil across Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, and South interior Karnataka. A circulation is over North Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells may occur over Northeast Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, parts of Assam, parts of Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, and coastal Odisha. Light to moderate rain with a few intense spells may occur over Karnataka, south Konkan and Goa south Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and isolated pockets of Marathwada. Light to moderate rain may occur over Jharkhand, interior Odisha, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and parts of east Madhya Pradesh. Light rain with one or two moderator spells may occur over the foothills of west Uttar Pradesh, parts of Western Himalayas, Punjab, west Madhya Pradesh, and southeast Rajasthan.
