Moderate to heavy rain over entire North and East India; Central and Southern parts too to receive isolated low to moderate rain

The axis of monsoon trough is passing through Bikaner, Rohtak and Sultanpur. The eastern end of the axis of monsoon trough is running close to the foothills of Himalayas. The Offshore trough at mean sea level is extending from Maharashtra cost to Karnataka cost. A cyclonic circulation is seen over Southwest Rajasthan and adjoining area. Another cyclone circulation is over South coast of Andhra Pradesh and adjoining area. An east west trough is extending from North Arabian Sea to cyclonic circulation over South Andhra Pradesh across North Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. During the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain with isolated very heavy spells are possible over Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, North interior Karnataka and parts of northwest Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are possible over Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Delhi, parts of Haryana and northeast Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain with few intense spells may occur over Punjab, rest Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, part of Odisha, Kerala, parts of Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and South Gujarat. Light rain with few moderate spells is possible over Chhattisgarh, eastern parts of Rajasthan, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Ladakh.
