Farmers are getting the benefit of buying paddy at MSP in large numbers. According to the data presented, in the current Kharif Marketing Season (KMS), 1.28 farmers have been benefited by purchasing paddy at MSP. This year there has been an increase of 175 percent as compared to 2015-16, that year 73.1 lakh farmers got the benefit of paddy procurement at MSP.
