Light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells are expected over Karnataka, Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand and south-east Rajasthan

The low-pressure area is Odisha and adjoining parts of Gangetic West Bengal it will move in West North West direction. The monsoon is passing through Firozpur, Rohtak, Aligarh, Churk, Ranchi, Balasore, centre of low-pressure area over costal Odisha and then towards east Central Bay of Bengal. An offshore trough is extending from south Gujarat coast to Kerala coast. Cyclonic circulation is over north central Pakistan and adjoining Jammu area. Another cyclonic circulation is over Western parts of Uttar Pradesh. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with few heavy spells are expected over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka, parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, parts of Telangana, parts of Chhattisgarh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and isolated pockets of Odisha. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells are expected over coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, Gujarat region, Madhya Pradesh, part of Chhattisgarh, isolated pockets of Kerala, parts of Uttarakhand and isolated pockets of south-east Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain with one or two intense spells may occur over Kutch, western parts of Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Odisha, West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand, Sikkim and northeast India. Light to moderate rain is expected over Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light rain is expected over J&K, Ladakh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.
