For the first time, soybean being sold at a higher price than mustard, the price reached Rs 8800 a quintal

In the futures trade of NCDEX Indore, the price of soybean in August contract has increased from Rs 8,129 to Rs 8,616 a quintal, while in futures trade, an upward circuit (six percent) had to be put on this price. This is the first time such a fast has been seen in soybeans in a day. Mustard prices also showed strength due to improvement in soybean. The 'Plant Delivery' price of mustard has increased from Rs 8,700 to Rs 8,800 a quintal in Latur Kirti, Maharashtra. In Chhattisgarh's Rajnand village also, the price of soybean is available at Rs 8,800 per quintal. The government should stop the export of DOC in view of the increasing demand from poultry companies for oil-free oil (DOC) of soybean.
