Light to moderate rain over interior Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Karnataka and remaining parts of Rajasthan

Depression over Chhattisgarh and adjoining area has weekend into a well-marked low pressure and is now over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining area. It is expected to awaken into a low pressure by today evening and may move in westerly direction across Madhya Pradesh. Cyclonic circulation over South Gujarat is extending up to 5.8 Km above mean sea level. Monsoon trough is passing through Dwarka, Baroda, Bhopal, center of well-marked low-pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh Daltonganj, Digha and then south eastwards to east central Bay of Bengal. A trough is extending from cyclonic circulation over South Gujarat to Gangetic West Bengal across cyclonic circulation associated with well-marked low-pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells are possible over Gangetic West Bengal, adjoining parts of North Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Parts of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Uttarakhand, southeast Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Scattered light to moderate rain may occur, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim sub-Himalayan West Bengal, North east India, Delhi parts of Punjab, Haryana, remaining parts of Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and parts of Vidarbha. Light rain is possible over Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka, Telangana, J&K and Ladakh.
