Isolated light rain is possible over Northeast India, minimum temperatures are expected to increase over North West and Central India
Western disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining area. Two more Western disturbances are expected to approach Western Himalayas in quick succession. First will be on December 24th and another on December 26th. Cyclonic circulation is persisting over Southern parts of Bangladesh.
During the next 24 hours, light rain with one or two moderator spells associated with scattered snow fall is possible over Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and parts of Himachal Pradesh. Uttarakhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive scattered rain.
Isolated light rain is possible over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Minimum temperatures may increase further over Northwest Central and Eastern parts of the country.
