Rainfall with thunderstorms is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, and East Uttar Pradesh

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon is expected to continue to pass through Khajuwala, Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Naliya. Meanwhile, as the low-pressure area (LPA) over northwest Madhya Pradesh is likely to get gradually less marked, a cyclonic circulation has established itself over the area. In addition, a trough extends from around the aforementioned cyclonic circulation to the northwest Bay of Bengal. During the next 24 hours widespread rains with isolated heavy rainfall are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and East Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells are possible over Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Island and Uttarakhand.

A trough is extending from Northwest Bay of Bengal to North Punjab across North Odisha, North Chhattisgarh, Cyclonic Circulation associated with low pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining South Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Scattered light to moderate rain may occur over rest of North India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, rest of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana. A weak western disturbance will affect North India, mainly over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh, during this period. Light rain is possible over parts of Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Gangetic West Bengal, Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and at one or two place is over Lakshadweep.
