During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over southern parts of Tamil Nadu and parts of Kerala. Light rain is possible over Coastal Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Manipur, and Mizoram. Day and night temperatures may drop marginally across Northwest, Central and east India. Air quality index of Delhi and NCR will remain in very poor category. The cyclonic circulation over central parts of the Bay of Bengal extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Meanwhile, a fresh cyclonic circulation will likely emerge over the south Andaman Sea around December 4, and it is predicted to bring fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls over Andaman & Nicobar Islands on December 4 and December 5. Under the influence of the above systems, isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall is very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep during the next 4-5 days. Weather will remain dry over rest of the country. Haze and mist are possible over Indo gangetic plains during morning and evening hours.
