A fresh feeble western disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region. Under its influence, light isolated rainfall or snowfall with thunderstorms and lightning is very likely at isolated places over Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. Additionally, light isolated rainfall or snowfall has been forecast for isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh. Strong surface winds (speed 25-35 kmph) are very likely over some parts of the plains of Northwest India.
During the next 24 hours, strong surface wind with a speed of 20 to 30 Kmph are expected to blow across plains of Northwest India from Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, north Madhya Pradesh and north Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain and snowfall are possible over Arunachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur over east Assam and light rain over western parts of Assam and Sikkim. Day and night temperature may fall over Northwest and Central India and gradually over eastern parts of the country as well.
