In Western India, daytime mercury levels may rise by 2-4°C during the next two days, with no significant change thereafter. Overnight minimums are likely to be higher than usual in Northern India during this projection period. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snow with one or two heavy spells are possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and at 1 or 2 places over Uttarakhand. Light rain is possible over South Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Isolated thunderstorm activities may occur over Northwest Uttar Pradesh and northern parts of Punjab.
