Under the collective influence of these systems, light isolated rainfall or snowfall may occur over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh on March 6-7 and over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Isolated light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm activity is expected over Central India and adjoining regions of West India during the next three days. Isolated light to moderate rains, thunderstorms, and winds gusting to 30-40 kmph are forecast over East Rajasthan. In addition, similar weather conditions accompanied by hailstorms may lash East Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. Light isolated rainfall or snowfall is possible over Arunachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim during the next five days. Light isolated showers are on the cards over Jharkhand, Odisha, and Gangetic West Bengal. As for the mercury levels, daytime temperatures may fall by 2-3°C over Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha during the next two days, while a rise of about 2-3°C is expected over Northwest India after two days. Overnight minimums are likely to be higher than usual in Northern India during this projection period.
