Rice - no long boom in the markets

There is a shortage of paddy in the rice mills of UP, Haryana and Punjab. The demand from exporters and other traders has increased at lower prices due to some export deals, due to which the Basmati rice of all types has increased to Rs 200/300 per quintal last week. But then the market has come to a standstill, because there is not much demand at the increased price and some small stockists have started selling their goods due to the shortage of rupees in the markets, in these circumstances once again the market seems to be sluggish ahead. At present, some stock goods are coming out, due to which the market is a bit depressed. Rice 1718 Sella is being sold at Rs.7600/7800 per quintal. Apart from this, rice 1401 is also being traded at a soft price.
