Production estimates were reduced in Maharashtra, Telangana, Haryana. Last season, 307.05 lakh bales of cotton were produced. Cotton production was reduced by 2 lakh bales in Maharashtra, 3 lakh bales in Telangana, 1 lakh bales in Haryana. Availability of 192.73 lakh bales of cotton in the season starting October till February 2023. In which there is 158.84 lakh bales cotton arrival, 6 lakh bales import and old stock quantity of 31.9 lakh bales. Cotton consumption from October to February 2023 was said to be 120 lakh bales, till February the export was 8 lakh bales. Cotton stock available at the end of February was 64.73 lakh bales.
