Rabi Chana procurement has started and NAFED has procured a total of 20187 MT of Chana till 17th March, 2023 under PSS scheme. Out of the total, it has procured 5901 MT in Karnataka, 6274 MT in Gujarat and 8012 MT in Maharashtra. The UP government has also decided to start procurement and after 1st April 2023 around 2.12 MT of Chana and 1.49 MT of Masoor will be procured. Online registration will start in Rajasthan from March 25.
