Stability in chana prices

NAFED passed the 2023 chana tender today at prices lower than the previous tender by Rs 70 in Madhya Pradesh and Rs 50 in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Pressure on gram prices can be seen due to tender being passed at low prices. Due to weak offtake in gram dal, buying in gram has remained sluggish due to which the prices of gram have remained soft. Today 4 motor vehicles of gram arrived at Delhi Lawrence Road. In which even today there was no best quality mall. The availability of best quality gram remains weak on Delhi Lawrence Road. Due to sluggish buying and selling, there was no rise or fall in Delhi gram prices today and the price remained stable at Rs 6475/6500 per quintal. Due to weak demand, Katni gram prices fell by Rs 50 per quintal today and with this fall the price came down to Rs 6350/6400 per quintal. Due to sluggish demand, there was no increase or decrease in the prices of Akola and Nagpur gram.
