MSP of masoor dal can be increased by 10 percent. Farmers of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will benefit the most. Wheat is cultivated the most in these states. MSP of mustard and sunflower will also increase. MSP of mustard and sunflower may increase by 5 to 7 percent. The central government may approve an increase in the MSP of Rabi, pulses and oilseed crops in the coming weeks.
