The weather is clear in the cotton growing areas of North India. According to traders, there was a three-point decline in the prices of cotton in the foreign market on Monday, and even today its prices opened weak in the electronic trading of ICE. Hence, cotton prices have declined due to weak procurement from spinning mills in the domestic market also. According to experts, the prices of cotton yarn have fallen by 2-3 per kg in Ludhiana and Delhi markets of North India, which has increased the concern of the spinning mills.
