The arrival of the new crop from Karnataka will start from March 10. Sowing in Karnataka this year is similar to the previous year. New maize will be stocked by the plants when the new crop arrives. The arrival in Karnataka's second crop is limited, which leads to a fluctuation of Rs. 50~100 in prices. Karnataka maize has a light red color and good quality.The arrival of superior quality maize is from the local belts of Athani, Mahalingpur, Chikodi, and Rabbar. The quality of other regions of Karnataka is good, but the quality of the local belt is the best. According to traders, prices will remain almost stable until the arrival of the new crop.
