A western disturbance and its induced cyclonic circulation continues to affect the Northwest region. Its rain and snow peak has passed, but fairly widespread rain or snowfall will continue over mainly Uttarakhand today. A fresh western disturbance is forecast to arrive over the Western Himalayan region and affect the subdivision’s states in coming 2 days. But the upcoming western disturbance is not likely to be much strong. Only there will be good snowfall over Jammu Division, Gigit-Baltistan, Ladakh etc. In next 2-3 days, light rains will prevail over North Punjab. In the past 3 days, it was observed that the minimum temperatures were quite low. But in the upcoming days, the minimum temperatures are likely to increase and hot days will prevail. Now the farmers of Uttar Pradesh are advised to continue the harvesting of Wheat and Potato. Temperatures of about 40°C is possible in some areas of interior Andhra Pradesh, coastal areas of Maharashtra and Karnataka after 3 days.
