A cyclonic circulation will produce rain or snow across Northeast India for several days. Accordingly, heavy rainfall or snowfall is possible across Arunachal Pradesh for next 2-3 days. A western disturbance will also affect the Western Himalayan Region from Wednesday to Thursday, while another western disturbance will affect the Western Himalayan Region in coming 4-5 days, resulting in heavy rainfall. Maximum temperatures will be below normal across Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas for many days. During the next 24-48 hours, light to moderate rain may occur over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, parts of Odisha, north Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, east Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and South Kerala. Light rain is possible over West Bengal, and Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Uttarakhand during next 2-3 days. As there is a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan, Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning may occur over Punjab and adjoining areas of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana during next 3-4 days.
