A cyclonic circulation will produce rain or snow across Northeast India for several days. Isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorm, lightning, and gusty winds over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Isolated heavy rainfall or snowfall is very likely over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh in coming 4 days. Isolated hailstorms are expected over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on April 13-14. Light to moderate rainfall is expected over Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana in coming 3-4 days, while Rajasthan may experience moderate rainfall during next 5 days. In view of the possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh, farmers are advised to postpone irrigation of maize crops. Keep maize crops free from weeds. A duststorm with gusts in the speed of 50-60 kmph is likely over some places of Rajasthan after 2-3 days.
