A deep depression over Jharkhand is expected to continue its west-northwest movement, entering North Chhattisgarh, Northeast Madhya Pradesh, and South Uttar Pradesh and weaken into a well-Marked Low Pressure area by today. The system is forecasted to dissipate over northern India in next 2 Days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, is expected over northern Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh today. This will be followed by similar conditions in north-western Madhya Pradesh and south-western Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. Delhi and the NCR region are also likely to experience isolated heavy rain with thunderstorms over the next 1-2 days. Light to moderate rainfall at most places is very likely with heavy rainfall at isolated places over Northwest Odisha, South Bihar and Jharkhand. Light to moderate rainfall over the Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and interior Karnataka during the week. A cyclonic circulation lies over Haryana and neighbouring states. A cyclonic circulation persists over Himachal Pradesh and its surrounding areas, leading to moderate to heavy rainfall in both Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
