Heavy Showers to Lash Northern India: Uttar Pradesh, MP, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan.

The depression over northeast Madhya Pradesh has weakened into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area as it moves west-northwestwards towards southwest Uttar Pradesh. This system is expected to continue on its path and further weaken into a low-pressure area within the next 24 hours. Due to the effects of this system, heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds is likely over parts of northwestern Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, and East Rajasthan over the next 1-2 days. A cyclonic circulation over North Haryana and its surrounding areas is also expected to enhance rainfall activity in the region. States like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and interior Karnataka will also experience light to moderate rainfall over the coming days.
